The GRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live
Have you ever wondered what was going through John’s mind as he wrote hit song after hit song like Fortunate Son, Proud Mary, and Have You Ever Seen the Rain? Or what he was like before his rise to fame? Or how in the world he could get sued for sounding too much like himself? For the first time ever, John Fogerty will be opening up his storied life to to the public like you’ve never seen before. Starting September 26, 2013 and running through January 26, 2014, The GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles will exhibit John Fogerty: Wrote A Song For Everyone.
On display will be items like John’s dobro from the Green River album cover, pages from John’s personal scrapbooks kept during his years in Creedence Clearwater Revival, more details about his precedent-setting court case, and even the original Fantasy Records contract, signed by all four CCR members.
On the evening of the launch, John will participate in The GRAMMY Museum’s popular “An Evening With” public program series titled An Evening with John Fogerty. This sold-out event will be hosted by GRAMMY Museum executive director Bob Santelli, and will include a candid interview and audience Q&A in the Museum’s Clive Davis Theatrer.
