Favorite John Fogerty CD's (Records)?
Hi All, what are your favorite John Fogerty Records?
My favorite are, Centerfield and Blue Moon Swamp.

We'll say favorite records because that's the best format to listen to music. That's actually a tuff question because he has such a great music catalog. But if I were stuck on an island and had the chance to choose I would have to say "The Blue ridge Rangers" the 73 one and also his self titled that some refer to as "The Shep Album" I just hope there's electricity on the island.

Difficult question to choose between so much great music.When i must choose for his best solo cd i take Blue moon swamp.

Blue Moon Swamp and Revival. The Shep Album a very close 3rd. But if I were to choose only one, it would probably be Revival. Depending on the mood. Those 3 albums represent John in very different stages I think.
The Shep Album was his very CCR sounding album, with screeching geetars and vocal performances not long after CCR's depart. Blue Moon Swamp was his fantastic return to form in 1997 - a very good record with a southern style. Revival was yet another "return" in my eyes - I really loved the Deja Vu album, but it was a mixed experience and after that it was the Long Road Home live album. Revival was very Fogerty/CCR sounding with some of John's best lyrics ever.

I will have to say my favorite is whichever one I am currently listening to so for now it is Blue Moon Swamp. And my current favorite song from my current favorite album is Blue Moon Nights. Woohoo! Rock on John!

If your assuming from his solo albums.........there is only one for me its the shep album... that voice is just fantastic, rockin all over the world and the the wall are pure john fogerty .

Blue Moon Nights is one of my favorite songs too. I really like the song live!

thats a pretty hard question because i love all albums he produced....but i always liked "Centerfield" and "Eye of The Zombie" very very much. But the other albums and of course all the non-album singles (specially you don't owe me and evil thing are AWESOME !!) too....;-)

You know that the God's honest truth is that I love every single song JF ever wrote and CCR's stuff is really great! My # 1 fav is Proud Mary, of course, but i also LOVE and ADORE Born on the Bayou, Pagan Baby, Longshot, Broken Down Gunslinger (ha ha) Ramble Tamble, Long Dark Night, 99 and a half, and Feelin' BLUE is just about the most Creedency song he's ever mastered!!!!
I just love those songs so very much, Old Man Down the Road really kicks ass and Centerfield is like Lodi and Sweet Hitch hiker rolled into one great rollicking song!!!
Crazy Otto is another great, great song that I just cannot get enough of!!!!! Bootleg and Keep on Chooglin is pretty incredible and amazing!!! GOSH - I can go on and on...... -

GOSH!!! This is really super hard to do- b/c moods change and circumstances in life shift around very often, like the clouds up in the sky.
But I gotcha! Chronicle # 1 prolly my fav.
Followed closely by Bayou Country!!!!!!! Honestly to be 100% purley honest and pure, I think I've
listened to Bayou Country most often of all. Followed close by Cosmo's Factory. Hmmmm.

As you have stated you like chronicle 1 and revival......well as in my previous post i said that the shep album was my fav fogerty solo set, as for creedence ..... well its pendulum.!!!!!

anyway when it is about CCR, it is definitely "Bayou Country", yeaah
I can't describe it...it has this special vibe no other album in the world has...and it has power...so that is in my opinion the best CCR album.
And shortly after that, if that counts (because its no studio album) there is as 2nd fav. CCR album "Live In Europe".

Favorite solo album/cassette/8Track/CD/mp3 (gotta cover all the generational bases so far) would be Blue Moon Swamp - there's nothing political on it; just good, fun rock and roll.
