Vinstra country festival
John was at his best, his funniest, the sound was great (you have a the coolest crew John!) i'm typing in the middle of the night and it does get dark here, im in the tent and the batteries of my laptop are low AND I dont see anything, but just wanted to say it was a great evening for us. Worth the suffering that all those drunks put us trhough, I had a bad feeling in the start but John just all made it great! We completely love Randy with his lapsteels and dobro and anything, did I allready mention? Shane was there agian too.
Well just wanted to say a small word but now I'm going to sleep its a 7hr trip again tomorrow and its 2am!

Norway was a blast! In general i enjoyed the show but alot of the drunk people behind us ruined the show for us, actively trying to avoid country "festivals" now!
As Petra stated, John was really funny and i had a few good laughs, he wore one of the cowboy hats that was thrown on stage.
I had brought a dutch flag with "HOLLAND" on it as i used it in previous shows, but in my excitement i was holding the flag upside down when John was looking so he had to laugh and tried to figure out what it said!
Unfortunately i think John didn't really recognise me and my father from the previous shows, or didnt make the connection. Atleast he saw some of the others next to us
In Rattvik now for tomorrows show at Dalhalla, should be great!

Re: Vinstra country festival
Yeah John was great and I consider it was an even better show than the two previous ones.
Shane will play along the whole tour I guess. It will be fantastic for him to stand next to Bruce Spingsteen if Bruce might consider to play along with one or more of John's songs in London !
I can't stop saying positive things about the bandmembers and especially also about Randy Kohrs as he is a very talented guitarplayer. I guess he can handle almost every instrument with strings on it.
I love his style.
Bob Malone is a nice addition too altough I cannot hear his accordeon most of the times.
His keyboard playing is one of the best I ever saw.
John seems to handle all the little mistakes that can happen on a stage very well now.
He keeps on staying positive and very well concentrated on what he's doing. Probably the maine reason why they put plexiglass in front of Kenny's drums I guess, to keep that sound a little away from John's ears so he can concentrate more on his own stuff.
Great shows, great music, great friends and great country views, what more does one want ?
