Finland

Last weekend I was in Finland (for the first time)
and it was great to be there in Helsinki/Oulu but wet (mostly during the shows).

Petri Silmala picked me up from my flight from Amsterdam to Helsinki.
I travelled the whole weekend with Petri Silmala, Esa Laukkanen, Jukka Leino,
Aarno and Tarja Aikas and we had a lot of fun.
They are really nice nice people.

I want to thank them very much for the nice welcoming in Finland and friendship.
Finland is a very beautiful country with very nice people.

Than the shows.

The first show the bass was so loud that the other instruments you could hardly hear them. There where also some technical problems during the show on the stage but overall it was a good show.

The second show the sound was much better and John
had a lot of fun during the show. It’s unbelievable John can still play so well.
So much joy, energy, great voice and playing.
John thanks for that. You are still the very very best.

The arrangements from a couple of songs has changed a little bit so that Bob and Randy can play some extra instrumental parts on it and I really like that.

In the hotel I met the band (Kenny, David, James, Randy and Bob) and they are (as always) very nice people. It’s always nice talking to them. Thanks for that.

The last night (it stayed the whole night light) Jukka had arranged an after party in Oulu with the band Köpöt Rulez and we played (me on drums) until 03.00 hrs in the morning a couple of hours Creedence and John Fogerty songs.

So I had a great time in Finland
That was my little report from Finland.

Hope to see a lot of fans in Ziggo Dome Amsterdam and hope to see
Robert, Petra, Arnold, Micio and Anne again there (travel safe).
