Kristiansand concert

We're just back in Denmark from Norway, where we saw the Kristiansand concert! The audience really enjoyed it, even though John had a cold last night and his voice wasn't at its usual top... still, respect to the man for his professionality, he kept going on and made the best of it when others would probably have quit... he did the full setlist without skipping anything, and by the end the show was as good as ever. The people in the audience were really enthousiastic and were dancing and singing all the time!

Now we're going to drive to Holland for the Amsterdam show tomorrow! :-)

    The venue was situated on the southern coast of Norway
    the entrance was next to a yacht-harbor with beautiful ancient wooden boats (like you see them in Venice)
    along a rocky coast we went in , had to go up a slope (a real cardio-fisycal test)
    which abled me to pass 2 well-shaped ladies with my long legs and be the first front-stage
    but I must say that after three hours you could still find a place front-stage
    everybody sat on the grounds going up or were already hanging at the bar
    that's the biggest problem in Scandinavian country's : drinking
    I also like beers but not at a show
    for me a show is having respect for the extra-ordinary talent a musician or artist has that I wish I could have but I don't
    I enjoy that talent and want to show my gratytude (maybe this sounds smaltzy but I don't care)
    but for the drunks music is just wallpaper for their party ........SHAME !!!!!!! (nooooo not Shane !!)
    because he did a fantastic solo ........ I'm impressed !!!!!
    the weather here has been extreem changeble from sunny to rainy and from hot to windy and what do you get: A COLD : an infected throat , loss of voice and a snottebrod (that's Norvegian for nose-run) and Mister J.F. has those symptons , me being Docter Phil ..... oh I'm
    sorry I mean Arnold , I should know
    So my dear patient : lots of hot drinks and honey !!!!!!!
    we wouldn't want to miss one of the three last shows
    this would heavily disappoint many many fans
    but like Micio said later on in the show some strange power overtook John Fogerty (SuperFogerty) and nobody noticed the problems
    I must say ....... BIG RESPECT !!!!!!!!! such an artist , such a professional
