My thoughts on the Toronto Friday night show
From the review of John's show in the Toronto Sun posted by Song and a smile
I agree with most of the people who commented on this writers review in the paper. From the show I saw the writers review was far less than I expected. I was definitely thinking 4.5 stars minimum. The video just before the actual show was a great surprise and for the audience not so familiar with this legend a great introduction. 29 songs and 2 + hours !!!! How can you be anything but overwhelmed. Loved the stage set up. My only critique that would be negative was for anyone who purchased the ultimate VIP , being on stage for the show. Front of stage in seats or standing surely offered a far better view. With no meet and greet either I think this one maybe needs some fine tuning. From what I saw you were in a seat and not able to really get into the show. (like John was). There were friends I met who gave Damonn and myself an awesome treat for the evening. It was great to see you both again even without your incredible generosity. So nice to see you both acknowledged by John. I can't forget to mention how fantastic Damonn and I both felt when John passed him down his guitar pic. I realize many of you have felt that type of joy but those wow moments never grow old or tiring.
Julie looked great and beautiful as ever. Her smiles and waves are always something special. Also talking on the phone to Donna before the show was a nice touch as well. I hope everything is going well for you all.
It was a special weekend for our family. Our daughter Brittany got married on Saturday. The wedding was planned well over a year ago for that date so I'll give her a pass for me not making the Oshawa show. LOL
My sister who has lived with me being a John Fogerty fan since our early teens, (before that for her)
was finally convinced to see her first show. She said she always sort of enjoyed his music but could never really see what my craziness was about with regards to going to all these shows. Well after seeing John Friday night her 2 sentence summary was something like, Now I get it, seeing him live is so much better than listening to the records. Man did he ever bring it !!! Yes John really did bring it Friday night and it was nice that it was in front of a virtual sellout of almost 3200 people.

It was good talking to you too Brian. It has been a long
time since we've shared a concert.
Congrats on your daughter's wedding.

Re: My thoughts on the Toronto Friday night show
A wonderful show, visually stunning. John is awesome. The first time we do get to see him. One negative point: the sound was just a little bit too loud; the sound from the group that made the opening was just right. I frequently go to concerts, and it's common to hear loudness so high, too bad because the sound gets so distorted. Probably not the fault of the artists themselves, but the persons in charge of the sound and lightning. Just my small point of view. Keep the good work John, you're the best.

Re: My thoughts on the Toronto Friday night show
It was great to see Brian, and his family, and Michelle at this Toronto show I am posting this a bit late but I just got home no computer for over a week. John was superb great setlist. I did miss not having no Darlene or chicken at this show.
