Tears from emotions

I was with Belgian friends and saw a TV program from Luc Alloo this man made a reportage in the prison from Leuven Centraal

Some people are in jail for 12 years or more
Luc wanted to interview some people,

When a cell was opened and Luc spoke with a man and after some questions ran the man to his table and put music on and turned (you will not believe it) Long AS I CAN SEE THE LIGHT (there went a shock through me) and Luc asked why turn you are this music and the man replies

I get my power from this music this music make me strong and give me strength to survive I am a big fan of John Fogerty & CCr

(The tears ran down my cheeks from emotion)

John

Thank you so much

Jeanne from the Netherlands

Thank you for sharing this story, Jeanne. It's just beautiful.
I don't think that even John Fogerty realizes how deep-reaching his songs were when they first came out,
and how strongly they've held their powers.
It's just impossible to put it into words.
    Have a peaceful night.

Jeanne, that was a lovely story and the man chose one
of John's most soulful songs of hope.
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Some folks are internally incarcerated and John’s songs have kept them going. His music has helped many folks when they are down and out.
