there's a lack of interest on this site compared to the old one wich used to have a lot of new posts everyday.

    I totally agree. We often go many days without one posting, which was very rare five years ago. I think this can be likened to a number of reasons:

    1. Nothing exciting is happening in Fogerty camp now. The news page proves that - just 3 "stories" have been posted since September. There are no tour dates, John's new album has no known release date and no new details have emerged in months, and there aren't any upcoming events (guest appearances, TV specials) that would get fans excited and chatting on the forum.

    2. This website has little to offer. Nearly everything in the "media" section is from Youtube or Facebook, there are no setlists under the "tour dates" section, the "Fanclub" section is useless - just a compilation of all registered users, the "releases" section is disorganized and is missing albums (Blue Ridge Rangers, Zombie, JF75), and even the music player plays four of the most widely-known Fogerty songs. And most importantly, almost EVERY story from the news section is ripped from other websites! (reviews of the Canada shows, Sundance concert). The Fogerty website offers nothing original... therefore, why would anyone visit?

    3. Forum changes have lost fans. The Fogerty forum has changed a LOT over the past 6 years. There was EZBoard (great!), Yuku (good!), then the Verve Forum (so-so, more policing by admins), and now the Vanguard Forum. As Fogerty's message boards have changed so much over the years, I'm sure many fans got lost in the transition from one forum to the next. And John's fans are typically in their 50s and 60s; as they age, they might lost touch with the internet, and therefore this forum.

    There's too many possibilities to read all the news right now.
    I'm a member of maybe ten Facebook groups, 5 mailinglists and several forums,
    ALL about John Fogerty or CCR. It's getting a little bit too much sometimes

    Got to say there is nothing going on with john or anything creedence to get your teeth into..........hopefully that will change soon. Doesn`t seem to be any feedback from john or his management to keep us all interested at the moment.

    You can assume John isn't sitting around doing nothing.
    My guess is that he is working hard at his music and his
    new book. He can't perform all the time.
    You can always talk about John on his Fogerty Freeks Forum
    because there are plenty of long time CCR/Fogerty educated
    fans there and maybe more actions then here.
    If you have any questions about Fogerty you can ask there
    and I'll guarantee there are plenty people like Sary and It Came
    Out of the Sky who can answer them.

    We are all hoping we'll hear Fogerty news on this forum soon.
    Most fans check this forum and Freeks forum daily, I know I do.

    That´s great Swamp Girl. We all are hungry about getting all the news about John. For all fans in Europe. There will be the 4th Int. Fanmeeting in March 2013 in Kamen. Lots of True Blue Fans from the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, etc. will have a great weekend with Live Music there. The Mainact will be "COSMOS FOGER-T" from Belgium. I´m looking forward to be there again.

    Oh, I forgot something. I have been in SF & LA with 12 Fans from Europe early last year. It was awesome to be there on the Roots of Johns life and music. How about having the 5th Int. Fanmeeting in BERKELEY? That would be just a dream for me.

    Maybe we could even get some USA fans together doing a fanmeeting too.
    Berkeley or El Cerrito would be the right place to do it

    well ....on johns old site there was a guy called "bayoulover" who in my opinion was really good at communicating with the fans from all over the world, you could ask any question relating to john fogerty or creedence and he always done his best to find out any info ..........well swampgirl they are big shoes to fill but i have a feeling we won`t need to worry . good luck.
