Of course he is. He always was. There is a misunderstanding that John gave up all his rights to the CCR songs to get free from the Fantasy contract, but this is not correct. He still gets composer rights, and as far as I know also performer rights, but for many years he was in no position to interfere in the ways Fantasy wanted to use those songs... I hear this has changed a bit since his contract with Fantasy back in 2007, though.
