New member asking for a favor
Hi all. I love John Fogerty's music, have been a fan since CCR, have seen him live lotsa times. I am one of those few who actually collect good quality live recordings of John.
I am wondering if anyone has got a reasonably good quality audio version of John singing Never Ending Song of Love live on stage? I have a couple but they're all a bit muffled.
I apologize if this is not the correct forum to request this, or if this sort of thing is frowned upon. I love John's music, especially the live stuff because he throws in so many unscripted ad lib instrumental breaks, many of which are never the same each time he plays them.
Please let me know if you can help. The easiest way is to send me an mp3 by email (which I can provide, of course, if you can help).
Thank you!

Re: New member asking for a favor
Welcome on board, wondrous apparition!
we don't usually openly trade unofficial recordings on this forum. John has once said that he's not really against them though (as long as it's free trading between fans, and no selling!), as they are part of what being a fan is about. But as this forum is maintained by the record company, I guess they're not very happy about bootlegs.
There is another, unofficial, fan based forum called the John Fogerty Freeks Forum (you can google it!), where it's okay to discuss these things openly. Most of us are on that forum, too.
Anyway, I can tell you that John played NESOL only a few times live, 9 to be exact, at the following concerts:
July 2, 2009, Hollywood Bowl, L.A., CA
July 3, 2009, Hollywood Bowl, L.A. CA
July 4, 2009, Hollywood Bowl, L.A. CA
September 2, 2009, South Street Seaport Pier 17, N.Y., NY
November 12, 2009, Kodak Theatre, Hollywood, CA
November 14, 2009, Star Of The Desert Arena at Primm Valley Resorts, Jean, NV
November 16, 2009, Temple Hoyne Buell Theatre, Denver, CO
November 18, 2009, State Theatre, Minneapolis, MN
November 24, 2009, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark, NJ
Hope this helps you!
