Fortunate Son!
Hey Swamp Girl,
Today's edition of USA Today (2/26/2013, page 6D) lists John's "Fortunate Son" collaboration with The Foo Fighters as one of the "intriguing tracks found during this week's listening". Does this mean that this track is the album's first official single, and does it mean that this track has already been pushed to radio stations?? If so, considering that thousands of worldwide radio stations are now available to us via the Internet, where can we go to hear this new song played and/or to request a playing?

It would be a logical choice... the Foo Fighters are huge, and having FS as a single would generate a lot of publicity. My guess is that they will have at least 2 singles, one for rock radio (FS) and one for the more country oriented radio stations.
Anyway, I NEED to hear those songs!!! Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease release some excerpts!

I have been kicking this around in my head for some time. Is Fortunate Son to be the most popular song on this CD or another? The two new songs come to my mind first and then others. I’m excited just waiting for 5/28. I always thought John and Bob should record a song together. Years back I always wondered if they knew each other. Bob recorded a live version of Fortunate Son a few years back and did a great job one of my favorite covers of that song. I feel WSTR will be strong on this CD.

Not even kidding, everyone I work with has a different favorite song. This whole album is so strong front to back.
