Well RBQ one thing I always wish I could do is write like you. I enjoy your posts immensely you always give a great description of events .The Pearl venue is cool it’s actually below the casino level. We just purchased a home on the Colorado River south of Vegas about 60 miles. We will never leave California the weather is just the best. Now we have place where we can fish and bring the grandkids we call it the Cove. We drove up to Vegas on Friday we arrived at the Palms and Johns name was flashing on the big neon sign out front so we took some pictures. We talked to Darleen and Alan a bit and met a few other longtime fans. The concert started I always look around and saw all the fans young and old , it makes me feel so good that all these generations love the music that I have enjoyed all my life So the concert started and John kicked a_ _ the band was great and Shane is a fantastic guitar player.. I loved the OMDTR young bucking Shame is bad a _ _. Great show like I mentioned in my first post JOML was one of the highlights. I put Centerfield, Hot rod Heart right there at the top of John’s greatest songs they put a smile on your face and we sing along. RBQ you’re the best we love you I hope we can see you soon maybe visit the Cove in Arizona and listen to John’s music an Roll on the River. Big wheels keep on turning Proud Mary keep on burning. Down by the River in a Saturday night it doesn’t get any better. Dan Smith
Herman always was in a great mood. I would see him at the shows and he was always friendly and a great sense of humor. I remember at the Santa Barbara show we went out for breakfast and had a wonderful conversation. He will be missed and always remembered.
John Fogerty concerts are amazing. Song after song as many times we have heard them they never get old. We as fans are fortunate that John is still touring he is without a doubt one of Rock‘s best. Glad you enjoyed the show.
