Billboard just announced that Dave Grohl's 'Sound City Players' featuring John will now be performing at South By Southwest in Austin, TX on March 14, 2013.
Dave Grohl will be giving a keynote address, and then joining John and others for a night of classic rock. Confirmed performers include Dave Grohl, John Fogerty, Stevie Nicks, Rick Springfield, Lee Ving of Fear, Rick Nielsen, Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine, Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour, Chris Goss of Masters of Reality, and Alain Johannes.

ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and Sonos will present a unique concert experience shutting Hollywood Boulevard down for an exclusive performance by Dave Grohl and the Sound City Players featuring Rick Springfield, John Fogerty, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, and Lee Ving of Fear--all backed by Grohl's extended musical family including the full Foo Fighters lineup, Krist Novoselic of Nirvana, and Alain Johannes. The concert is expected to draw over 10,000 fans and will take place on Tuesday, March 5, in the heart of Hollywood.
