Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Last night John took the stage at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and it was a collision of great music played and great memories made.

The night kicked off with John, Tom Petty and Jackson Browne performing with and for the induction of Randy Newman. Prior to this performance, John helped coach Newman through his nerves. John said, “I was really happy for Randy. I kept trying to be his cheerleader.”

Check out what else John had to say in his Rolling Stone interview below, and hear why he calls Wrote A Song For Everyone, “the best thing I’ve ever been associated with.”

Tune into HBO on May 18th to catch their rendition of “I Love L.A.”
