John Fogerty On Deck for Keynote Q&A at Billboard Touring Conference

Legendary singer/songwriter/musician John Fogerty will serve as the Keynote Q&A at the 13th annual Billboard Touring Conference, which takes place Nov. 9-10 at the SLS Beverly Hills Hotel.

Against a backdrop of social upheaval and the Vietnam War, Fogerty exploded from his home town of El Cerrito, Calif., as the leader and principle songwriter of one of the most influential and beloved bands in rock 'n roll history, Creedence Clearwater Revival. Cranking out a remarkable string of the biggest hits of the late '60s -- early '70s, CCR forged a distinctive, groundbreaking sound that melded blues, country, pop, rockabilly, R&B, swamp boogie, and Southern-tinged rock 'n' roll. Among Creedence's many classics, still mainstays of rock radio, are "Proud Mary," "Green River," "Fortunate Son," "Down On The Corner," "Lookin' Out My Back Door," "Travellin' Band," and "Bad Moon Rising."
