Lockn’ Festival Adds John Fogerty To 2017 Lineup

The 2017 Lockn’ Festival will take place at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, Virginia between August 24 – 27. Festival organizers promised lineup additions would be revealed this week and hot on the heels of yesterday’s announcement comes another addition – John Fogerty.

Fogerty performed at the inaugural Lockn’ Festival in 2013, where he was Widespread Panic’s special guest. The Panic/John Fogerty collaboration included takes on “Born On The Bayou,” “Bad Moon Rising,” “Mystic Highway,” “Susie Q,” “The Old Man Down The Road” and “Keep On Chooglin.” The former Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman joins a lineup that already includes Gov’t Mule, Phil Lesh & Friends, The Avett Brothers, Umphrey’s McGee, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, moe., The String Cheese Incident, Greensky Bluegrass and many others. Yesterday’s lineup additions were Antibalas, Blackberry Smoke, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Hiss Golden Messenger, Moonalice, The Record Company and Sinkane. Another announcement is due tomorrow.

Tickets are available via the festival’s website.
