Sunday night at a sold-out Riverside Theater, John Fogerty seemed to be living in the past.
The former singer, songwriter and lead guitarist for Creedence Clearwater Revival is focusing on 1969 on his current tour, when Creedence broke out with a whopping three hit albums, before imploding from band member disputes just three years later.
What was preached Saturday night was made official today. John Fogerty is returning his “Fortunate Son in Concert” greatest-hits show to the Venetian Theater this fall, the dates running Sept. 14-Oct. 1. Fogerty told the audience at Saturday night’s performance that he would be back on the Strip in September to a wild response.
Due to popular demand, legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist John Fogerty returns to The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Las Vegas for an encore residency this fall.
“It was the greatest rockin’ Las Vegas at The Venetian,” remarked Fogerty. “I am overwhelmed and so grateful at the response we have had that we are going to bring my show, Fortunate Son in Concert, back in September! Come join us next fall to shake things up rock ‘n’ roll style.”
